On December 2, Giving Tuesday – a project by the Zagoriy Foundation – held "Nebaiduzhi" (Caring Hearts) annual сonference The event brought together 400 participants, including representatives from business, government, and the public sector.
The goal was to provide practical advice for those developing partnerships and find honest answers to how to build cross-sector cooperation in times of uncertainty, prolonged war, and resource austerity.
Participants immersed themselves in modern practices of fundraising, philanthropy, and corporate social responsibility, and learned about the latest cases of collaboration between business, government, and the nonprofit sector.
Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company was the conference’s general partner and organized a special interactive zone where steps made by participants were converted into donations from Darnytsia for the "Black Forest" Drone Hub.
Everyone could join the charitable challenge.
The mechanics were simple:
• Participants performed as many steps as they could on a stepper;
• Every 10 steps were converted into 100 UAH donated by Darnytsia.
In this way, health benefits were combined with charity. During the conference, 250,000 UAH was raised.
Once again, the company demonstrated that health is not only a personal value, but also an effective tool for helping others. The combination of social responsibility and an active lifestyle encourages good deeds in everyday life and highlights the role of business as a driver of important societal change.
“The idea is very close to me, when everyday, small efforts — a step, a movement, a good deed — create a system of help. One action triggers another, and over time, this produces a tangible effect for the whole community. Systemic philanthropy and clear donation mechanisms strengthen us — from within, as a society, and outwardly, as partners you can rely on,” emphasized Kateryna Zagoriy, Zagoriy Foundation co-founder and Chairwoman of the Board at Darnytsia.
