The emotional support program "Keeping Balance Is Who We Are" won at the 2025 national CSR case competition "Business That Changes the Country," held annually by CSR Ukraine.
The open finals took place in Kyiv. Since 2009, this competition has been a key national platform highlighting socially responsible business initiatives and building a community of companies focused on practical, measurable impact.
This year, Darnytsia presented two practical CSR cases:
• The employee emotional support program "Keeping Balance Is Who We Are" (nominated in "Employee Safety");
• The program for support and employment of veterans and their families "Our Strong Ones" (nominated in "Support and Employment of Veterans and Their Families").
Both cases were presented by Darnytsia’s Senior HR Business Partner, Nataliya Zaporozhets. She emphasized that for the company, participation in such competitions is not just about winning awards, but about sharing experience and contributing to a market of high-quality, systemic practices.
"Corporate social responsibility today is not about individual projects, but about solutions that become an organic part of a company’s life," — Nataliya Zaporozhets noted during the finals.
The 2025 competition brought together 76 cases from 47 companies and focused on themes of resilience, support for the military, recovery, community development, and preserving identity. A special event was a public interview with Kateryna Zagoriy on trust in large business and CSR initiatives that truly work.
Since 2016, the CSR case competition has developed in the context of the UN Global Sustainable Development Goals to 2030, remaining a key platform for responsible business in Ukraine.
