Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company has joined the nationwide "Chain of Caring" initiative as part of the global movement "Giving Tuesday," which brings together millions of people around the world to do good deeds and promote the culture of philanthropy.
"Giving Tuesday" is an international day of charity. Every year it unites businesses, public organizations, and all concerned individuals to provide help, initiate change, and support the country's development. For Darnytsia, participation in this initiative is a natural continuation of its corporate social responsibility strategy.
Examples of Darnytsia's participation in charitable and social projects in 2025:
• Over UAH 181 million provided in medicines and financial support for more than 200 organizations and units, including United24, Come Back Alive, Shields Ukraine, and the Angels patronage service.
• The first partnership in Ukraine between the Ministry of Defense and the pharmaceutical sector was initiated within the "Army+" app: now, military personnel can receive Darnytsia medicines with a 20% discount at partner pharmacies nationwide.
• Together with the Zagoriy Foundation and within the charitable campaign by Atlas Festival and Come Back Alive foundation, UAH 3 million was allocated for the purchase of drones to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.
• Partnership with the Ukraine Wow exhibition helped raise almost UAH 7 million in support of Ukrainian museums.
• In cooperation with InterChem, a five-year project was implemented to preserve Saint Sophia Cathedral of Kyiv, allowing humidity in the monument's walls to be reduced from a critical 13% to a safe 4%.
• Supported the Save Mariupol fund (medicines worth UAH 1.6 million) and the Children of Heroes Foundation (3,000 first aid kits for families of fallen servicemen worth UAH 3.5 million).
• Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the "We Are Together" corporate movement has raised over UAH 6 million to help mobilized employees and their families.
• Blood donation has become an integral part of corporate culture: just this year, company employees donated blood four times, giving almost 800 people a chance at life.
